Technical Guidelines

1. Format of The Competition

Mixed team event comprising of:

i ii iii iv v

One man's Single One women's Single One Men's Doubles One Women's Doubles One Mixed Doubles

The competition will be carried out in single league system in one or two groups depending on numbers of participation teams.

2. Competition Rules and Regulations

The competition will be carried out in accordance with the current Rules, Laws and Regulations of World Badminton Federation (WBF) and any amendment/s thereof. In case of any dispute on interpretation of the rules, laws and regulations, decision of the Referee shall be final.

i) Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any player who contradicts the rules, laws and regulations;

ii) Players who have submitted their names in competition forms shall not be changed;

iii) Players must be present at the tournament venue 15 minutes before commencement of the competition. If fail to present on time, will be considered as walk-over;

iv) Decision of umpires shall be final.

3. Shuttlecocks

Yonex shuttlecocks will be utilised.

4. Appeals

i) All participating teams may make appeal. Only the Team Manager may make an appeal. An appeal must be submitted in writing to the 6th BIMP-EAGA Organising Committee together with a sum of BND$200 as deposit;

ii) The deposit shall be returnable if the appeal is considered improper;

iii) An appeal must be submitted to the 6th BIMP-EAGA Organising Committee within 30 minutes at the end of competition.

5. Prizes

Prizes for winners will be presented as follows:
